2020 -- 6 Months Have Passed Away

 Today...  marks the last day of June 2020 and a 6 month milestone for the year 2020...  and, if you are like me, you are wondering where it all went and cannot believe that it passed by so quickly...  such is life when you are 60 years of age and older...

Life changed dramatically for me when I reached 60 years of age.
  • I was told I had cancer
  • I was told that I had a serious heart attack
  • I realized my body no longer had all its strength
  • I realize my eye sight was worsening
  • I realized I could not hear as well
  • I realized I was no longer as active
It was then that I started thinking about my retirement and making sure our home was modified to accommodate a retired lifestyle.  I used the extra money I was generating as an Organizational Business Consultant to pay for these changes.  

My wife and I started saving as much money as we could afford and began watching what we spent our money on and in particular, we made sure that we ELIMINATED ALL OUR DEBT which was by far the best decision of our entire lives.

TWELVE YEARS LATER, both my wife and I are retired...  I at 67 and she at 62 and we have enough money to pay our modest bills for the next 25 years and then some.  And, if I were to die tomorrow, there is enough money saved to pay her bills until she is 97 with the understanding that she would have to sell the house and move into an apartment.

In other words, we are not wealthy, but we SAVED MONEY...  We have no other retirement income outside of Social Security and what we managed to save...  and, we are lucky...

What do we do now that we are retired?
  • We sleep until about 8:30 am
  • We work outside in the yard
  • We work inside the house
  • We read and write and shop
  • We spend 2-3 weeks at the beach
  • We've been on 10 cruises
  • We've been to Hawaii 3 times
  • We've been to Europe twice
  • We've been all over the USA
COVID-19 has successfully demonstrated to us that HOME is where we need to be and that since we are going to be staying here more than expected that we better develop some hobbies...

Right now, I maintain 4 blogs on a daily basis which occupies a lot of my time and could occupy more if I was also motivated to fill all pages that I have created for each blog...  sometimes, the motivation just isn't there to constantly write, edit, and research.

In my distant past I spent a lot of time photographing nature and individuals as well as dabbled in oil painting which I suppose I could revisit...  but, there is nothing drawing me there like before...

I have also started and completed a couple of novel and am in the middle of a third but lost interest there as well...

What to do...

Rain in the Valley

For the last two days, it has rained  at our location in East TN which is considered the Tennessee Valley because we are just west of the foothills of The Great Smokey Mountains...  We are protected here from harsh weather because of those mountains to our east and the Cumberland Plateau to our west...  making it damn near ideal throughout the year...  but and it is unusual, we have been deluged by rain totally a good inch or more because our above ground pool needs to have some water drained out of it.
I managed to mow the grass before it rained but as soon as the sun appears, it will need to be mowed again which is typically not a problem because it only takes an hour.

The rain will be good for our squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers that fortunately did not need picking while we were on vacation but there will 4 good size squash that I picked upon our return and were immediately cut and cooked with onions.

Vacations never end too soon and always end with us returning home which for me is the best part of the vacation even if it is to face two days of rain...

Sick and Tired...

I am so sick and tired of the Democrats, the Progressive Democrats, the Liberals, the Socialists, and all of the mainstream media outlets that support their foolishness because of the endless assaults on anyone and everyone that does not think like they do...  that, I am thinking maybe they should just get their way for a few years and see how they fix things without blaming their failures on someone else...



Democrats want to government to provide DAMN NEAR EVERYTHING to the people

Democrats want the WEALTHY to pay for it all

Think about that a minute or two...

Them Democrats are going to tell someone like BILL GATES that they are going to take a few billion away from him and give it to a bunch of other Americans who can't pour piss out of a boot with directions written on the heel...  and, have the audacity to think that BILL GATES won't do shit against them...

I am sure that many wealthy people would be willing to pay a little increase in their taxes but not more than that...  and if they feel like this is going to happen, then they will get with their tax attorneys and shelter their money in offshore bank accounts where the IRS cannot tax their money or even find out how much money they have there...

Wealthy people ARE NOT AS STUPID AS THOSE PEOPLE WHO AREN'T WEALTHY ARE...  and yet, our smart Democrats do not understand that...  at least it would seems...

Once business and industry have their taxes raised and be told again by their tax lawyers that the Federal Government has returned the government regulations that Trump removed...  well...  they ain't stupid either, so I suspect they will pull back on their expansion plans which will also result in pulling back on hiring employees...

In some cases, there is a very good possibility that they will also increase prices to cover these increased expenses rather then show a profit reduction to their shareholders who will sell stock if something like that were to happen...


Of course, the Democrats and the Mainstream Media have a plan of action to counter what industry might do because what industry might do will literally destroy the economy and any growth forecasts that might have been predicted...

YES...  Vote Democratic...  and let them have a shot at fixing everything...

DO YOU FEEL SAFE IN THE USA THESE DAYS?

Personally...  I no longer feel safe in the United States of America for a couple of reasons...  
  • First, I am 72 years old and weakened physically because I have been fighting cancer for over 12 years...  
  • Second, racial unrest has left me with a FEAR OF BLACKS because I worry that they might take out their anger about SLAVERY on ME because I am WHITE...
Currently...  I will not visit any of the larger cities like:  Washington DC, Atlanta GA, New York City NY, Chicago, IL., and all cities like this...  whether I can drive by car to these locations or fly..

These last few days, my wife and I have been vacationing at Myrtle Beach, SC and wherever we go whether it is on-the-beach at tourist locations around the city, we AVOID BLACKS whenever possible...  and, if we have to pass by them, we never look at them as we pass and especially never look them in-the-eyes just in case they misinterpret our gaze. 

OUR ACTIONS ARE WRONG...  but, current events across the country have put us in an uncertain situation when it comes to black people and we would rather be safe than sorry...

We do not share these same concerns where we live in East TN but when away from that location, including Knoxville, TN (only 30 miles down the highway) this is how we feel...

Lots of Time to Think...

BEING RETIRED...  I have lots of time to think...  and, being down at Myrtle Beach on vacation from retirement, I have even more time to think...

Back at the home front, our three cats are being looked after daily, and I mowed the lawn the morning we left, and our hot tub has crapped out once again but there is a technician who has us on his schedule for next week, and our pool motor stopped working but it was fixed today...  so, my mind is free to think about other shit that might be on my mind...

Part of me is JUBILANT because of this BLM movement and the fact that I was once a protester in the 60's and I have been waiting for others to take up the baton and carry on the good fight against "the man," and part of me is rather scared SHITLESS because I fear an all out race war is coming and there will be many innocent people, no doubt, getting hurt as acceptable casualties...

Our DO NOTHING CONGRESS made up of ASSHOLES from both the Republican and Democratic Parties have been sitting on this racial time bomb, since we first protested in the 60's and nothing really has changed except for the wealthy blacks and there are now plenty of them...  and, so far, the new wealthy blacks have been reluctantly but now eagerly accepted by all the other non black people of wealth...

For example,
1960's Protests
  • look at all the wealthy black movies stars (male and females)
  • look at all the wealthy black professional athletes (male and female)
  • look at all the wealthy professional musicians (male and female)
You don't see any of them protesting in the streets...  other than saying they support BLM and to underscore their support, they give MONEY...  as if that will fix everything.

Some things in the USA are bound to change as a result of this recent BLM movement...  however, a vast majority of things will never change for the black minority like,

HIGH RANKING MILITARY POSITIONS
HIGH RANKING GOVERNMENT POSITIONS
ACCEPTANCE from uneducated whites
BECOMING A MAJORITY RACE IN THE USA
BECOMING THE MAJORITY RACE AS CEO's
INTERMARRIAGES
BECOMING THE MAJORITY RACE AS ENGINEERS AND LAWYERS, ETC.

Trying to change history by removing the statues or changing the history books or attempting to REWRITE THE US CONSTITUTION, if accomplished, will never happen...

LIKE THE 60's...  everyone will listen for a few weeks, maybe months, and a few things will slowly change, but the vast majority of what happens in this country will still be controlled by the whites and by  2022 or maybe even earlier...  all will be forgotten...  and, life will continue on as usual....  


Hypothetically Speaking

While I am currently interested in politics, I am no student of politics, nor am I trained in any way, shape, or form in political analysis... but, given the set of circumstances that I have recently witnessed by watching and listening to FOX NEWS, I have a "sinking feeling," that our current President, Donald Trump is going to lose the 2020 Presidential Election and will not be returning to the WHITE HOUSE in 2021...

WHY DO I FEEL THIS WAY?
Let me tell you this...  it has nothing to do with his arrogance or ego or vulgar remarks of others or his inappropriate TWEETS...

Here are my reasons:
  1. the Coronavirus Pandemic
  2. the killing of George Floyd
  3. Trump's recent Tulsa rally
  4. the BLM movement
All of the recent polls that show Biden ahead did not influence my thoughts or my decision to feel this way...  especially when all the polls predicted that Trump would lose in 2015 as well...  my current thoughts about Trump losing in 2020 are coming from the recent news and not just the unemployment because human nature for Americans would not blame Trump for the Pandemic in the USA...  but, this time there is so much INTENSE RACIAL HATRED that American human nature would blame Trump for that social racial awareness or lack thereof...

President Trump is DOING NOTHING to quell the SOCIAL UNREST but instead has turned his sights towards the November election and trying to present the destruction of Federal Property by bringing in the National Guard...

SOCIAL UNREST will cause President Trump to lose his second term...  not anything else...  the DEMOCRATS are better equipped to handle SOCIAL UNREST than Republicans unfortunately...  the economy be DAMNED...

While It's Raining at Myrtle Beach

The beach area out in front of our location here at Myrtle Beach is, for all intents and purposes, is closed because of the rain or the imminent threat of rain by looking up in the sky...  consequently, I am left inside our room while my wife shops and while typing my "ranks and waves," that I post on my blogs, I am watching LAW AND ORDER on the television but not the various spin-offs but the original with McCoy...

Down at Myrtle Beach, SC

My wife and I have already enjoyed 4 days down here at Myrtle Beach and during those days, there has been no rain, at least during the daytime beach hours which ends for us at 4:00 pm when LACK's Beach Service picks up the chairs and umbrellas and puts them away for tomorrow.  The ocean surf and undercurrent has also been relatively calm for all those 4 days as well.  When we leave our motel to get something to eat and do a little shopping, we witness social distancing taking place at the restaurants and most everyone wearing face masks as far as the visitors are concerned and ALL THE WORKERS wherever we go wear face masks.  However, most everywhere we go we discover that most shops are closing at 6:00 pm with a few staying open until 8:00 pm which is substantially earlier than last year.

As far as our room is concerned, we always get an ocean front or facing room which has a living room and kitchen and bathroom with a bedroom that is separated by a door so that I can go to bed early and not be disturbed and my wife can sleep in after I get up without being disturbed as well.

Our desired rate that we feel is reasonable is $1200 for 6 days or $200/night and we actually use that rate to decide if we stay 5 days, 6 days, or 7 days.  Our budget for Myrtle Beach is roughly $2000/visit which includes motel, meals, snack foods, shopping, and gasoline coming and going which is usually a tank there and a tank back with no more than a tank while we are there.

Our trip down to Myrtle Beach takes about 6 hours and we stop at least once to get something to eat, stretch our legs, use the bathroom and get gas...  we are typically there about 20-30 minutes.  If we need to stop for the bathroom, we are in and out in less than 5 minutes.

Incompetent College Grads






During my 45 year career over 30 years was spent in and around education on the Junior College, College, and University levels which also included teaching classes to employees of a variety of industries...  These classes revolved around economics, business management, strategic planning, project management, goal setting, process improvement, statistical problem solving, and ISO quality standards.  My college level course were all business and project management related and I taught classes to more than just business students who had decided to enroll in one of my classes as an elective.

What I found surprised me...
  • No one did their homework
  • No one read the Chapters that were going to be discussed that day in class
  • No one wanted to ask questions just wanted to be told what to think
  • No one took notes based upon my lectures
  • No  one had college level problem solving skills
  • No one had college level drilling down on the subject skills
  • Everyone wanted to be told exactly what I was expecting and that is all they gave me
  • Most everyone wrote at a 10th grade high school level
  • Most everyone had piss poor reading skills
  • Most everyone had limited presentation skills
Why did this surprise me?

Because these people, when they graduated would become employees somewhere, and I doubted how much they would contribute to the productivity of their respective companies or be able to properly contribute to the company's growth...

This type of incompetent college graduates are, in the long run, going to hurt the long term strength of our company and underscore their inability to be able to globally compete.

Youth to Adult

 
I had just turned 16 years of age when I became interested in politics...  the year was 1963 and Kennedy had been shot and killed right before Thanksgiving...  I was living in Cairo, Egypt as my Father had accepted a position with the US Embassy there as the Agricultural Attache.  In 1966, when I graduated from high school and left Egypt to attend college in North Carolina, Vietnam War Protests were in full swing along with Civil Rights Marches led by Martin Luther King Jr as well as other prominent racial leaders of that time.

I was on the verge of outgrowing my teenage years and becoming a young adult who theoretically was mature and responsible but I was far from that transition I later realized, and it would be years before I actually became mature and responsible even after getting married and enlisting in the US Navy.

Because of President Kennedy and what he stood for and represented, I became a DEMOCRAT in my political beliefs and was strongly opposed to "the man" who for me was represented by wealthy businessmen and Republicans who were using war as a means of generating economic wealth for themselves and their companies at the expense of their workers and the soldiers who were being killed overseas fighting someone else's battles all because we were convinced that the rest of the world had to be like US...

I am now 72 years of age and its been 56 years since I first became interested in politics and I am NO LONGER a Kennedy DEMOCRAT but I am not a Republican either...  I suppose that you might say that I am a Conservative Liberal, but not so liberal that I am Socialist.  I am conservative because I basically do not believe GOING INTO DEBT to get what ONE THINKS ONE NEEDS...  I also realize that one needs very little to enjoy what life offers and that MONEY does not always provide one with HAPPINESS.

HAPPINESS IS AN INTERNAL CONSTRUCT to use a phrase from The Matrix... and, it is not about taking the red or the blue pill but about a state of mind that comes from an awareness of acceptance concerning life and one's purpose in that life.

Once one understands this, politics and everything else around you becomes sort of irrelevant... and rather meaningless relative to that awareness...

QUESTIONDoesn't it seem rather pointless that we only live for 80 to 100 years?

Personally, I imagine that many people probably don't give a shit about that question but if you did...  think about it for a minute?

What is the point?
What are we supposed to accomplish?
Why is our life that long or that short?
By the time we discover how to live longer, we'll be dead.
Not everyone will become a billionaire.
Not everyone will become a millionaire.
Not everyone will be successful.
Not everyone will leave behind a legacy.
Most of us will accomplish very little.

Black Lives Matter Movement

   

I Have a Dream Speech by Martin Luther King, Jr.
delivered 28 August 1963, at the Lincoln Memorial, Washington D.C.

I am happy to join with you today in what will go down in history as the greatest demonstration for freedom in the history of our nation.

Five score years ago, a great American, in whose symbolic shadow we stand today, signed the Emancipation Proclamation. This momentous decree came as a great beacon light of hope to millions of Negro slaves who had been seared in the flames of withering injustice. It came as a joyous daybreak to end the long night of their captivity.

But one hundred years later, the Negro still is not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination. One hundred years later, the Negro lives on a lonely island of poverty in the midst of a vast ocean of material prosperity. One hundred years later, the Negro is still languished in the corners of American society and finds himself an exile in his own land. And so we've come here today to dramatize a shameful condition.

In a sense we've come to our nation's capital to cash a check. When the architects of our republic wrote the magnificent words of the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence, they were signing a promissory note to which every American was to fall heir. This note was a promise that all men, yes, black men as well as white men, would be guaranteed the "unalienable Rights" of "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." It is obvious today that America has defaulted on this promissory note, insofar as her citizens of color are concerned. Instead of honoring this sacred obligation, America has given the Negro people a bad check, a check which has come back marked "insufficient funds."

But we refuse to believe that the bank of justice is bankrupt. We refuse to believe that there are insufficient funds in the great vaults of opportunity of this nation. And so, we've come to cash this check, a check that will give us upon demand the riches of freedom and the security of justice.

We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of Now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism. Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God's children.

It would be fatal for the nation to overlook the urgency of the moment. This sweltering summer of the Negro's legitimate discontent will not pass until there is an invigorating autumn of freedom and equality. Nineteen sixty-three is not an end, but a beginning. And those who hope that the Negro needed to blow off steam and will now be content will have a rude awakening if the nation returns to business as usual. And there will be neither rest nor tranquility in America until the Negro is granted his citizenship rights. The whirlwinds of revolt will continue to shake the foundations of our nation until the bright day of justice emerges.

But there is something that I must say to my people, who stand on the warm threshold which leads into the palace of justice: In the process of gaining our rightful place, we must not be guilty of wrongful deeds. Let us not seek to satisfy our thirst for freedom by drinking from the cup of bitterness and hatred. We must forever conduct our struggle on the high plane of dignity and discipline. We must not allow our creative protest to degenerate into physical violence. Again and again, we must rise to the majestic heights of meeting physical force with soul force.

The marvelous new militancy which has engulfed the Negro community must not lead us to a distrust of all white people, for many of our white brothers, as evidenced by their presence here today, have come to realize that their destiny is tied up with our destiny. And they have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom.

We cannot walk alone.

And as we walk, we must make the pledge that we shall always march ahead.

We cannot turn back.

There are those who are asking the devotees of civil rights, "When will you be satisfied?" We can never be satisfied as long as the Negro is the victim of the unspeakable horrors of police brutality. We can never be satisfied as long as our bodies, heavy with the fatigue of travel, cannot gain lodging in the motels of the highways and the hotels of the cities. We cannot be satisfied as long as the negro's basic mobility is from a smaller ghetto to a larger one. We can never be satisfied as long as our children are stripped of their self-hood and robbed of their dignity by signs stating: "For Whites Only." We cannot be satisfied as long as a Negro in Mississippi cannot vote and a Negro in New York believes he has nothing for which to vote. No, no, we are not satisfied, and we will not be satisfied until "justice rolls down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream."

I am not unmindful that some of you have come here out of great trials and tribulations. Some of you have come fresh from narrow jail cells. And some of you have come from areas where your quest -- quest for freedom left you battered by the storms of persecution and staggered by the winds of police brutality. You have been the veterans of creative suffering. Continue to work with the faith that unearned suffering is redemptive. Go back to Mississippi, go back to Alabama, go back to South Carolina, go back to Georgia, go back to Louisiana, go back to the slums and ghettos of our northern cities, knowing that somehow this situation can and will be changed.

Let us not wallow in the valley of despair, I say to you today, my friends.

And so even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream.

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal."

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a state sweltering with the heat of injustice, sweltering with the heat of oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.

I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day, down in Alabama, with its vicious racists, with its governor having his lips dripping with the words of "interposition" and "nullification" -- one day right there in Alabama little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls as sisters and brothers.

I have a dream today!

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, and every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight; "and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed and all flesh shall see it together."2

This is our hope, and this is the faith that I go back to the South with.

With this faith, we will be able to hew out of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith, we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith, we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.

And this will be the day -- this will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with new meaning:

My country 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the Pilgrim's pride, From every mountainside, let freedom ring!

And if America is to be a great nation, this must become true.

And so let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire.

Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York.

Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania.

Let freedom ring from the snow-capped Rockies of Colorado.

Let freedom ring from the curvaceous slopes of California.

But not only that:

Let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia.

Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee.

Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi.

From every mountainside, let freedom ring.

And when this happens, and when we allow freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual:

Free at last! Free at last!
Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!

Our US Constitution

According to Dr. David Azerad, former Director and AWC Family Foundation Fellow, wrote the following on December 28, 2015:   "...While all today recognize this momentous accomplishment, many remain confused about the status of slavery under the original Constitution. Textbooks and history books routinely dismiss the Constitution as racist and pro-slavery. The New York Times, among others, continues to casually assert that the Constitution affirmed African-Americans to be worth only three-fifths of a human being.

Ironically, many Americans who are resolutely opposed to racism unwittingly agree with Chief Justice Roger Taney’s claim in Dred Scott v. Sandford (1857) that the Founders’ Constitution regarded blacks as “so far inferior that they had no rights which the white man was bound to respect, and that the negro might justly and lawfully be reduced to slavery for his benefit.” In this view, the worst Supreme Court case decision in American history was actually correctly decided..."

The momentous accomplishment to which Dr. Azerad was referring was the passage of the 13th Amendment to the US Constitution which abolished slavery...  and, that the concept that the US Constitution is racist suffers from one fatal flaw and that is the concept of RACE does not exist in the US Constitution.

Interestingly, while the US Constitution does not refer to slavery or race, it does refer to a group of people that do not have the same rights of whites...  TO ME THIS IS SPLITTING HAIRS...

Since we are tearing down all statues that represent slavery and the formation of the United States, including the American Flag that was recently burned by protesters, I think that we should REWRITE THE US CONSTITUTION to properly reflect the black minority that is so offended by everything that SMACKS of WHITE Control and reminds them of the horrors that their ancestors experienced as a result of SLAVERY.

We need to do away with ALL STATE POLICE DEPARTMENTS BOTH COUNTY AND CITY, and make policing a function of the Federal Government which we already have in our NATIONAL GUARD.

Instead of paying BLACKS reparations for the suffering of their ancestors during slavery, we should allow them to own CASINOS just like the NATIVE AMERICANS who we also screwed during the building and growth of our Christian Country.

It only takes one to start a movement.

I Read the News Today O'Boy...

Sometimes I think it might have been better for this country for Donald Trump NOT to have been elected President especially since most of the Democratic Party, the Socialists, and the Mainstream Media pretty much HATE the SON-OF-A-BITCH...  and now that the Bolton Book is about to be released Adam Schiff is talking about another impeachment hearing.  
The incredible economy that Trump built has been devastated by COVID-19 and the death of George Floyd has pushed many people over the limits of sanity or so it seems.

If this current situation continues much longer it is going to evolve into a RACE WAR, since many of us feel that BLACKS are tying to rewrite history and instead of building themselves up like other successful black people have done, want the GOVERNMENT to take care of them by giving them whatever they want.

AND...  I fear that RESENTMENT from the WHITES will build to the point that PUSH BACK will result in force meeting force...   and, at the very least, RACISM will increase instead of abating.  I know that I am getting fed up with all the crap that they are doing.

LET THE DEMOCRATS and SOCIALISTS create the country they want and see if giving the general public everything they want makes us STRONGER or WEAKER...

DEMOCRATS and SOCIALISTS DO NOT WANT:
  • a strong military presence
  • a strong police presence
  • a law and order type society
  • a growing;thriving economy
  • conservative millionaires/billionaires
  • strong multinational companies
  • to honor the American Flag
  • to honor the US Constitution

DEMOCRATS and SOCIALISTS DO WANT:
  • to be friends with Russia
  • to be friends with China
  • to be friends with North Korea
  • to be friends with Arab Terrorists
  • trade deals that do not favor America
  • a society dependent upon the government
  • high taxes especially on the wealthy
  • the redistribution of wealth

Ain't It Funny

When I was growing up in Alexandria,VA just 8 miles south of WashDC, we referred to non whites as NEGRO...  Non whites did not like that especially because of the slang term that soon developed and so they wanted to be called COLORED PEOPLE...  then, after a while, they did not want to be called COLORED and asked everyone to refer to them as African American...  That term lasted a long time until some of the African Americans thought their heritage was important so they asked to be called BLACKS.  For some reason and I do not remember why, they did not like like term and wanted to be referred to as PEOPLE OF COLOR...

Excuse me for being WHITE and STUPID because my ancestors supported slavery, but isn't PEOPLE OF COLOR very similar to COLORED PEOPLE...

By pointing this out, I must be RACIST...

"Former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger lashed out against people making face masks a political issue hours after Gov. Gavin Newsom announced new requirements for Californians.

All Californians are now required to wear face masks in public places due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the California governor ordered Thursday. The requirement calls for residents to wear masks when they are inside any indoor public place, riding on public transportation, while outdoors in public spaces and other “high-risk situations.”

The former governor and celebrity Schwarzenegger tweeted Thursday it is “100% the right move.”
