He's Still In Most of Us

 

I am old enough to remember the ALL IN THE FAMILY show with Archie Bunker and while he was bigoted and for the most part an utter fool when it came to his closed mind thinking ability or lack thereof, it was still funny as hell to watch...  mainly because I felt like we were laughing at ourselves.

TODAY, a show like this would never be allowed to show even one episode before it would have been shut down...

I am not sure if this is progress or not...

BUT, the sad fact remains is that this is current society whether we like it or not and until people decide that they have had enough of this shit, we are going to tear down a FREEDOM OF SPEECH abilities one phrase at a time.

AND...  will it really matter whether I am allow to write or say in public that which I want to write or say in public???

NO...  it will not really matter because in MY HEART NOTHING IS EVER GOING TO CHANGE...    

And... I don't think I am alone in my feelings here...

Fighting Back

In the previous two elections, 2016 and again in 2020, those of us who still care about out country, saw a DIVIDED US...  and as the LEFT pushed the RIGHT with:

• BLM
• ANTIFA
• Cancel Culture
• WOKE Mob
• Censoring conservatives
• Critical Race Theory
• Defund the Police

the RiGHT has started pushing back and have been standing up to those who are trying to change this country to more reflect that which ONLY THEY BELIEVE..

Perhaps the LEFT did not expect the RIGHT to push back but we have and will continue to PUSH BACK until the LEFT decides to BACK OFF...

It may take several years for a new compromise to take place and if that is the case, sobeit.

The rest of the world, doesn't give a shit about our internal conflicts just as we don't give a shit about their internal conflicts...  with the only difference being that those other powers like:

• China
• Russia
• North Korea
• Iran/Iraa
• Middle East

want to see all citizens of the USA DEAD...  or, under their control.

UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES of that which is happening here now will, in the next few years, turn our country upside down and it will no longer be the great couintry that it once was...

Interestingly, I believe what cause this change to take place was actually two things:

FIRST - our Democratic Republic Form of Government

SECOND - our First Amendment Rights

American Free Speech and Censorship

 First Amendment Rights

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances...

Facebook and Twitter as well as the mainstream media which include:  CNN, CBS, ABC, and MSNBC have been attempting to CENSOR the conservative voice of Americans...  this practice began under the Presidency of Donald Trump and has continued with Donald Trump out-of-office and since 50% of the American Population are Conservative Republicans, there will be sufficient pressure placed to STOP THIS CENSORSHIP PROCESS MENTALITY...  Half of the Americans that live here are actually against this practice...  completely dividing the country yet again...

Eventually, the Democrats will get on board because they are not likely to ignore these TECH GIANTS that are beginning to have more power than they do...  fearing that one day it will be used against them.

Being Silenced

 

CENSORSHIP

Censorship is defined online as the suppression or prohibition of any parts of books, films, news, etc. that are considered obscene, politically unacceptable, or a threat to security.

As an American Veteran, I am concerned that there are segments of our current society that do no want to listen or read or even entertain what the other side is saying.  I am also concerned that some media outlets DO NOT POST NEWS that disagrees with their points-of-view, hoping to convince the other side that they are the only ones who are right.

To say that this practice is DANGEROUS is an understatement. 

I first saw this censorship in the CHURCHES because they were preaching to their congregations that ONLY THEIR VIEWS WERE CORRECT and if you DID NOT BELIEVE AS THEY DID then you were not going to heaven when you died.

This philosophy is DISGUSTING to me and INSULTS my intelligence because I want to hear all sides of an issue and then DECIDE FOR MYSELF who is right and who is wrong.

Mainstream Media, like these CHURCHES, do not want to print the CONSERVATIVE VIEWS simply because it does not agree with their views and they don't want the AMERICAN PEOPLE to be given a chance to CHOOSE what they want to believe...

THIS IS NOT WHAT BEING A DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC MEANS PEOPLE....
