UFO's: Three Theories

The former UFO program chief at the Pentagon, Luis Elizondo, detailed the three leading theories on where UFOs originated from and the five defining characteristics of UFOs that break the U.S.’s current understanding of the laws of physics.

During an appearance on "Fox & Friends," Elizondo, the former Director of ATTIP (Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program) said that the United States government applied the same methodology used in terrorism intel operations in regards to UFO’s and found that they are not only "real," but the information surrounding them is "compelling."

The Pentagon has presented three potential theories on the origin of UFOs.

The first "highly unlikely" theory purports that UFOs are secret U.S. technology that has flown under the radar due to a lack of communication between government agencies.

The second theory speculates that UFOs are "foreign adversarial" technology created without the intelligence of the U.S. government.

"This would be a huge intelligence failure of [the United States] because we’ve been technologically leapfrogged," said Elizondo.

Elizondo stopped short of concluding that UFOs could be alien technology when discussing the third and final theory.

"If it’s not ours and it’s not [another country] well, then it’s someone or something else."

Elizondo also outlined the five "unique observables" that help to distinguish UFOs from other identifiable aerospace technology.  READ MORE

A mysterious light cluster was spotted in the night sky near Charlotte, N.C., over the weekend, leading to a debate on social media over the possible presence of UFOs in the area, according to a report.

The strange lights were seen floating over the state's Indian Trail community and subsequently posted on the "What’s Up Indian Trail?" community Facebook page.

"Anyone know what these lights were tonight?" Alisa Homewood remarked, according to The Charlotte Observer. "No sound at all. They flickered like lanterns, but followed the same exact path up until they disappeared which was odd."

"My initial thought when I saw the lights was it was the helicopters in the distance, but as the lights got closer there was no sound. Then they went straight up into the sky and disappeared. No smoke, no debris," she continued.

A few hundred people have since reacted to her post on the community page, offering different opinions for the odd phenomenon, ranging from UFOs to a SpaceX rocket, according to the paper.

One of her photos captured a glowing trio of blue lights, which Homewood apparently could not explain.

"The blue light I didn’t notice until after I took the pictures. In the sky it did not look blue, it looked like a group of bright lights," she said, according to Charlotte Observer reporter, Mark Price. "I thought it was odd though, that a few people have seen and photographed that same blue-ish grouping of lights."

COMMENT:  no one seems to want to take the sightings seriously or if they do take the sightings seriously they do not want to believe that ALIENS are behind it or that ALIENS are really real...  they do not want to leave their comfort zone of being in control of life around them...  at least to some extent...

It is ok to see UFO's and have the government to admit that there are actually UFO's but it is another thing to actually believe that alien beings are piloting those UFO's and that we could possibly confront a species of life that is SUPERIOR to us, both mentally and physically.

How many alien civilizations are out there? 

A new galactic survey holds a clue.
The Milky Way is full of habitable real estate, with roughly half of all sunlike stars hosting Earth-size worlds that could be friendly to life.

Here’s a good sign for alien hunters: More than 300 million worlds with similar conditions to Earth are scattered throughout the Milky Way galaxy. A new analysis concludes that roughly half of the galaxy’s sunlike stars host rocky worlds in habitable zones where liquid water could pool or flow over the planets’ surfaces.

“This is the science result we’ve all been waiting for,” says Natalie Batalha, an astronomer with the University of California, Santa Cruz, who worked on the new study.

The finding, which has been accepted for publication in the Astronomical Journal, pins down a crucial number in the Drake Equation. Devised by my father Frank Drake in 1961, the equation sets up a framework for calculating the number of detectable civilizations in the Milky Way. Now the first few variables in the formula—including the rate of sunlike star formation, the fraction of those stars with planets, and the number of habitable worlds per stellar system—are known.

The number of sunlike stars with worlds similar to Earth “could have been one in a thousand, or one in a million—nobody really knew,” says Seth Shostak, an astronomer at the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI) Institute who was not involved with the new study.

Astronomers estimated the number of these planets using data from NASA’s planet-hunting Kepler spacecraft. For nine years, Kepler stared at the stars and watched for the brief twinkles produced when orbiting planets blot out a portion of their star’s light. By the end of its mission in 2018, Kepler had spotted some 2,800 exoplanets—many of them nothing like the worlds orbiting our sun.

But Kepler’s primary goal was always to determine how common planets like Earth are. The calculation required help from the European Space Agency’s Gaia spacecraft, which monitors stars across the galaxy. With Gaia’s observations in hand, scientists were finally able to determine that the Milky Way is populated by hundreds of millions of Earth-size planets orbiting sunlike stars—and that the nearest one is probably within 20 light-years of the solar system.   To Read Entire Article, Click Here...

What I find most interesting is the fact that more and more people and organizations are taking this concept of extraterrestrials seriously and accepting it as a real possibility instead of some SCIFI fantasy movie.  In the early 2000's, UFO's and shows like the X-Files made for curious watching by those who somehow found themselves in possession of open minds.  Two decades into the future and now we are seeing the UFO's and extraterrestrials as a real possibility...  even our Federal Government has released files that UFO's are REAL and no longer someone's vivid imagination or weather balloons.

BUT...

there are more pressing questions for some of us, like:

• did extraterrestrials meddle with our DNA?
• did extraterrestrials have sex with human beings?
• do extraterrestrials live among us now?

Federal Agencies Are Now Required to...

The combined COVID-19 relief and federal spending bill passed late last year includes an unusual request: U.S. intelligence agencies have 180 days to tell Congress what they know about unidentified aerial phenomena, or UFOs.

Agencies also have to explain how they collect data and analyze encounters with UFOs, and if the objects pose a threat to national security. Seth Shostak, an astronomer at SETI Institute, says government programs investigating UFOs date back to the early to mid-1950s.

“It's strangely placed, of course, in a law that really doesn't have much to do with any of this,” he says, “but it's certainly not unprecedented.”

In April of 2020, the Pentagon declassified three videos taken by Navy pilots that show unidentified objects flying at high speeds near their planes.

Polls show one-third of Americans believe alien UFOs have visited Earth. Shostak points out that the videos didn’t come as a surprise to people who want to believe.

The videos could show an alien UFO sussing out Earth, he says, but an internal reflection in the aircraft’s infrared cameras could also explain the strange sight.

All three videos were captured by F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter jets, he says. Many people theorize that the videos are a result of problems with the aircraft cameras.

“These videos actually weren't secret videos,” he says. “And you do see some strange things in them. But that doesn't mean they're alien craft.”

The aim of the upcoming report from intelligence agencies is to standardize reporting on UFOs and try to identify the objects, he says. Other similar initiatives, such as a Defense Department program from 2007 to 2012 called the Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program, share the same goals, he says.

Besides, he questions, why would highly advanced extraterrestrials take such a passive interest in the U.S. military?

"The government's interest in this is not that they're worried that, you know, little green guys have come for a house call,” he says. “I think that they're more concerned that there is some sort of military technology being deployed by potential enemies.”  SOURCE:  WBUR:  O'Dowd & Hagan

A former Israeli space security chief has sent eyebrows shooting heavenward by saying that earthlings have been in contact with extraterrestrials from a "galactic federation."

"The Unidentified Flying Objects have asked not to publish that they are here, humanity is not ready yet," Haim Eshed, former head of Israel's Defense Ministry's space directorate, told Israel's Yediot Aharonot newspaper. The interview in Hebrew ran on Friday, and gained traction after parts were published in English by the Jerusalem Post on Tuesday.

A respected professor and retired general, Eshed said the aliens were equally curious about humanity and were seeking to understand "the fabric of the universe."

Eshed said cooperation agreements had been signed between species, including an "underground base in the depths of Mars" where there are American astronauts and alien representatives.

"There is an agreement between the U.S. government and the aliens. They signed a contract with us to do experiments here," he said.

Eshed added that President Donald Trump was aware of the extraterrestrials' existence and had been "on the verge of revealing" information but was asked not to in order to prevent "mass hysteria."

"They have been waiting until today for humanity to develop and reach a stage where we will understand, in general, what space and spaceships are," Eshed said, referring to the galactic federation.

The White House and Israeli officials did not immediately respond to NBC News’ request for comment. Sue Gough, a spokesperson for the Pentagon, declined to comment.

A spokesperson for NASA said one of the agency's key goals was the search for life in the universe but that it had yet to find signs of extraterrestrial life.

"Although we have yet to find signs of extraterrestrial life, NASA is exploring the solar system and beyond to help us answer fundamental questions, including whether we are alone in the universe," the spokesperson said in a statement.
