America is Changing

The one commonality between most Americans is the fact that
nobody wants to have their taxes increase for whatever reason...

We are living in unique times in the USA these days what with COVID Pandemic Lockdowns, Public Education Closures, BLM and ANTIFA movements, the Cancel Culture, and an unprecedented outflow of government spending as well as a crisis increase in immigration.  In order to pay for all of these expenditures, government will need to raise taxes and could raise 

taxes in a variety of areas:

• annual income tax increase
• gasoline tax increase
• capital gains tax increase
• corporate income tax increase

Wealthy people has a way to shelter their money in offshore tax shelter accounts and even if the income tax does increase on them, the impact will be minimal because of those tax shelters.  Therefore, tax increases will flow downhill to those people who cannot shelter their money...  this is not a guess...  it is logical when the government needs money.

Gasoline tax increases will PISS OFF a lot of Americans, but they have to drive so they will purchase the gasoline they need...  and perhaps put off the vacations they had planned because of those increases.

Capital Gains tax increases will cause people to sell off assets (like stocks) in order to avoid a higher tax in the future...  in other words they will sell now rather than sell later.  This selling will cause the STOCK MARKET to fall and people's wealth in the stock market to decline.

A corporate tax increase will cause American companies to be less globally competitive and will result in one of two things or both to happen:  hire less people and raise prices.

Public Education is suffering in some States and the parents are getting very angry at the Governors and at the School Boards and Teacher's Unions  The school boards and unions want the teachers to receive COVID vaccines ahead of everyone else, they want salary increases, they want improved ventilation systems, and the want police departments defunded before they return to work.

Immigration is going to hurt America worse than all these other problems because we are allowing ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS to enter this country which is a violation of RULE OF LAW foundations...

The history books will write negatively about this moment in time in our country...  and more importantly, America is losing its positive reputation throughout the rest of the world.

Immigration

The United States of America has been based upon the FOUNDATION of immigration.  From the very beginnings and before our Declaration of Independence, immigration from Europe came to THE AMERICAS (North America in particular) for a new life.

The British used colonial North America as a penal colony through a system of indentured servitude. Merchants would transport the convicts and auction them off to plantation owners upon arrival in the colonies. It is estimated that some 50,000 British convicts were sent to colonial America and the majority landed in the Chesapeake Colonies of Maryland and Virginia. Transported convicts represented perhaps one-quarter of all British emigrants during the 18th century. The colony of Georgia, for example, was first founded by James Edward Oglethorpe who originally intended to use prisoners taken largely from debtors' prison, creating a "Debtor's Colony," where the prisoners could learn trades and work off their debts. It is for this reason that the Northern States have always LOOKED DOWN upon the Southern States...  and, it is unlikely that this animosity will go away anytime soon.  However, the fact remains that immigration is what BUILT AMERICA...

Nowadays,

immigration is either LEGAL or ILLEGAL...

AND...

most Americans are against illegal immigration but not legal immigration.  By letting unregulated immigrants enter this country, we are setting ourselves up for problems down the road typically referred to as UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES.

These consequences could include:

• reduction in jobs
• increase health risks
• increased crime
• crime infiltration

Immigration: Biden's Plan

When President Joe Biden unveiled an immigration bill on the first day in office, he sent a signal to advocates, the Democratic base, and Congress that the issue was a top priority for him.

But even as the president and Democrats on the Hill begin the heavy lift of turning a priority into law, the White House is weighing taking a secondary path: doing it piece by piece.

Multiple sources close to the administration said they expect the White House will let Congress take the lead on forging reform — even though Biden introduced his own bill. The White House will provide guidance. And, indeed, chief of staff Ron Klain and National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan are said to be hands-on and “feel a responsibility and an ownership” over the immigration push already, according to one of the sources close to the White House.

But the main objective is progress. And if that means moving components of reform through Congress one at a time, or in smaller packages, Biden will be fine with that, two sources close to the White House said.

“It's not an all-or-nothing approach,” said one source with knowledge of the White House discussions. “We aren’t saying you have to pass the Biden bill. But we are saying this is what we want to do and we are planning to move legalization forward.”

Biden’s immigration plan was an aggressive opening salvo embraced by the base, while Republicans, not surprisingly, gave it a cool reception. Some on the Hill privately questioned if Biden was simply checking a box to appease activists. Immigrant advocates, for their part, say they have no reason to believe — at this point — that Biden’s bill is ceremonial. But they warn that if substantial immigration reforms don’t reach his desk by the end of the year, Democrats and Biden would not only face an uproar from Dreamers and grassroots organizers — but the party could suffer politically as well.  SOURCE:  POLITICO
