Global Educational Rankings

        

The PISA is an international test conducted by the OECD (Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development) that tests the MATH, SCIENCE, and READING knowledge of 15 year olds and then compares the results with other countries that took the same test.

In 2018, the USA ranked 25th behind:

11. Poland
12. Ireland
13. Slovenia
14. United Kingdom

Note:  Do you think things have gotten better in TWO YEARS?

Granted, PISA is testing 15 year old's who have more than likely just entered high school and one can assume the Americans retain more knowledge between 9th grade and 12th grade than those same students from other countries...   but, in reality that is doubtful...  especially because American High School Students have more distractions and especially because Americans lead the world in the purchase of ILLEGAL DRUGS.             

What's even more disturbing is the fact that many of these high school students will be accepted to college and graduate which does not speak too well of American Education when compared to the education received by students IN THOSE 24 OTHER COUNTRIES who have higher PISA Scores.

LOOK AT THIS ANOTHER WAY...

The Future of the World and each country's ranking in that world is going to be dependent upon STEM education.
