What is quality?

Quality, is the standard of something as measured against other things of a similar kind; the degree of excellence of something; a distinctive attribute or characteristic possessed by someone or something.

According to many experts, in business, there are three levels of quality:
The individual
The organization
The process

BUT, what if you are not in a business?
What if you are buying a product, say a car or a house or a television?

I would suspect that many people perceive quality as being a function of the price in that if something costs tons of money, there quality is assumed to be there.

Quality Service is meeting or exceed expectations even though one's expectations can vary and be different from one person to the next...
