My wife and I have an "on the beach" condo booked for a week at Myrtle Beach, SC in June and while we have not cancelled yet, we are concerned about going there because of COVID-19 and the fact that we are both in a HIGH RISK group.
Yesterday, I found an article from a healthcare provider about what to do when traveling and having to stay in a motel room which I thought would be applicable to our situation.
Bring the following with you:
1. disposable gloves
2. paper towels
3. disinfectant
4. face mask
5. zip lock plastic bags
6. bleach
Do the following:
1. remove the bedspread as they are not cleaned between rentals
2. clean all door handles and surfaces where there might be frequent use
3. put the remote(s) inside the zip lock plastic bag
4. let as much sunlight in as you can
This is going to be a new norm for us... and, if one dwells on this, this new norm is depressing...
Having already lived over three-quarters of my life, I want to share my perspectives as to how I have treated life or life has treated me.
