Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez joined a chorus of New York lawmakers demanding an investigation into Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s handling of nursing homes during the coronavirus pandemic.
The New York Democrat said in a statement: "I support our state’s return to co-equal governance and stand with our local officials calling for a full investigation of the Cuomo administration’s handling of nursing homes during COVID-19. Thousands of vulnerable New Yorkers lost their lives in nursing homes throughout the pandemic. Their loved ones and the public deserve answers and transparency from their elected leadership, and the Secretary to the Governor’s remarks warrant a full investigation."
Meanwhile, Democrats in the state Senate are moving to strip the governor of his unilateral emergency powers during the pandemic, a remarkable intraparty rebuke. The measure could be voted on next week.
Had it not been for a TOP AID (photo left) to Cuomo letting the media know that Cuomo had lied, this story would have never surfaced... and, despite the fact that it has surfaced, the only news media that is really spending time reporting this news has been FOX NEWS...
WHY?
Because all the other networks support the DEMOCRATS and therefore their coverage is BIAS and in favor of the Democrats and not necessarily letting the public know what is really going on...
